• Chili Cook-Off

    Sunday, Feb 1

    Join us to see whose chili reigns supreme on Sunday, February 1, 5-8pm in the Gym! Enjoy a night of chili and entertainment by our very own Infinite Grace Praise Band. Tickets cost $15 per person if you buy during the presale. Price at the door is $20. Cost for kids 4th grade and younger is $5. The family price for adults and youth (5 people maximum) is $50. Your ticket into the Chili Cook-off includes 10 voting tickets. You can purchase more voting tickets on site. Funds go toward SHYP’s Summer Trip. Presale registration is available online or in the gym in between services on January 11,18, and 25.

    On January 10, Breakfast with Baby served 43 people, including 32 children from 22 families, with breakfast, a devotion, and baby items. Items needed for February 14 are: size 6 diapers, wipes; boys size 9 month and 3 yr and 4 yr clothes; and girls size 18 month, 24 month and 2 yr clothes. Thank you for continuing to share God’s love!

    Join us as we begin the Lenten season with our Ash Wednesday worship service on February 18 at 7pm. We continue our yearly theme of Praying with an Open Heart and spend Lent evening services studying God's gift of the best prayer outline, The Lord's Prayer.

Missionary of the Month

John & Jenn Wolf | Africa

John and Jenn Wolf serve the Lord as career missionaries through LCMS in Kenya. As the Africa region’s project manager, John provides oversight and support for projects and grants across the region, with a particular focus on mercy work. He also trains the local people and the local church partners to develop, manage and sustain projects that support Christian growth and congregational needs across Africa. Jenn is a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling and doing volunteer work. John and Jenn have five beautiful children — Ian, Sean, Thad, Annalise and Angus — who join them on the mission field. Pray for the people in Africa that they are brought to a saving knowledge of Christ and are assisted in their vocations through the work of LCMS’ African missionaries.
